threewalls staff and Executive Board would like to invite you to join The Chicago Collectors Club, an intimate group of fellow collectors and art enthusiasts. The Club provides a series of unforgettable events designed to put you in touch with collectors, gallerists, curators and artists. Along the way, get insider tips on how to build a better collection and be inspired by
work being created right here in Chicago.
Members attend a series of 6 events as a V.I.P. group, with threewalls serving as host and curator. Each private Club event is paired with catering by Fig and a special drink tasting by Perman Wines.

threewalls looks forward to hosting you on Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:30 pm at Sotheby's: 188 E Walton Place for a panel discussion and mock auction with collector, Scott Hunter; art advisor, Patti Gilford and Sotheby's Chicago Senior Vice President and Senior Specialist in Fine Art, Gary Metzner.

PANELIST BIOS
Patti Gilford is the founder of Patti Gilford Fine Arts ("PGFA"). She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has over 30 years of experience as a working artist, gallery director, and art advisor to major corporations, public institutions and individuals. PGFA has been advising clients on their art acquisitions for over 30 years. We collaborate with architects and designers to create distinctive corporate art programs and with astute individuals to build memorable collections. PGFA's wealth of experience includes helping clients consider, select, procure, install, refit, and de-accession a wide range of artworks. We are experienced in 20th century, contemporary and emerging markets including painting, photography, sculpture, printworks, fiber art and interactive installation.We also guide our clients through the challenging process of commissioning site specific works.
Scott Hunter, an Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Behavioral Neuroscience, & Pediatrics at the University of Chicago, has been collecting contemporary art in multiple medias for over ten years. His collection is focused around works on paper, painting, small sculpture, and increasingly, video, and emphasizes emerging and early-career artists, who utilize abstraction and plasticity in their practices. Scott has a particular affinity for Chicago artists within his collection and he works closely with several local programs, to build on work by artists across time.
Gary Metzner joined Sotheby’s in 1997. He is a specialist in paintings, prints and sculptures from Old Masters to Contemporary. As an Auctioneer, he has conducted hundreds of charity auctions throughout the Midwest including Cows on Parade and the Banner auctions for the City of Chicago. Prior to Sotheby’s, he was Director of Fine Art for Leslie Hindman Auctioneers beginning in 1993. Prior to that, he was Director of Hokin Kaufman Gallery in Chicago.
Mr Metzner can be seen on Chubb’s Antique Roadshow on PBS, has appeared on the Home and Garden Television network's programmes At the Auction and The Appraisal Fair, and participates in heirloom discovery days across the country. Mr Metzner is a graduate of Indiana University and earned a graduate degree in Art History from the University of Chicago. He is a recipient of the Plummer Scholarship in Fine Art and sits on the board of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.
Full membership to club is $550 per couple or $300 per individual and includes complimentary regular admission to the threewalls Spring Gala, The New Gotham Ballroom, and a fifty-dollar credit toward the purchase of a Spring 2012 CSA share per person or couple.
