As part of The Great Good Place, New Capital will host Sunday Painters on Saturday, part of an irregularly ongoing series by Chelsea Culp and Ben Foch that pivots from intersections of conceptual painting, performance, social-practice, and consensus based organizing. Rules of the gathering are that each painting may have as many contributions as it needs, it is complete when all participants in the group are satisfied with the work, then its titled by consensus, signed by anyone who contributed, and added to the wall. Some supplies will be provided, please bring your own as well.

New Capital is a curatorial project by artists Chelsea Culp and Ben Foch. Founded in 2010, the first two years of programming focused on solo exhibitions and performances by emerging artists. After converting the original galleries into studios they continue to guest curate in other venues. Fall of 2015 the gallery will reopen to the public in a new space at the same address.
