Racial Justice Issue: Public Health
Sojourner’s fellowship addresses public health through reframing what a healer is according to the Lawndale community. Their research will include facilitating intergenerational peace circles and dinners where residents share oral histories about how they have healed themselves. Circles and healing community retreats will culminate into a digital archive of Lawndale's Healing Wisdoms.
