2024-25 Program Annoucement

Hello Threewalls Family!

From September 2024 onwards, our Threewalls team is coming together and thinking through ways in which our program can continue to evolve and grow to best reflect our mission. With this in mind, we are pausing much of our public programming from now through the spring for collective reenvisioning.

The following programs will be paused for the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 cycle:

– RaD Lab+Outside the Walls Fellowship
– In-Session

As a Black women-led arts organization, Threewalls is proud to prioritize rest and care. Earlier this year, we committed to supporting a year-long paid sabbatical for Threewalls Executive Director Jeffreen M. Hayes, who will return in summer 2025. We see this programming pause as an extension of the same commitment to care, allowing the organization collectively to take the time and space we need to best align for the future. We plan to take this period of reimagination and return next spring with updates on our program vision and growth moving forward. In the meantime, we are continuing our work advocating for a Thriving Wage in the arts; developing a publication for our anniversary project Dreaming of a Future; and hosting Culture of Care, a monthly space for sharing, rest, and reflection.

We look forward to sharing program updates with our community in the spring and in the meantime, we welcome the opportunity to hear from you. If you would like to receive updates directly, please find our newsletter sign-up here. Additionally, we welcome all program inquiries at info@three-walls.org.
